Our graduates receive the tools required to conduct research and training programs in order to provide original contributions to the field of Psychology.

The Master’s Degree program trains professional psychotherapists interested in developing their abilities to offer a responsible consultation and high-quality psychotherapy. The program also enables graduates to serve as psychotherapists to diagnose patients and determine prognoses that allow them patients to develop a course of treatment based on the psychotherapy with a psychoanalytic approach.

The program directly collaborates with the Mexican Psychoanalytic Association and with the Freudian Society of Mexico City, among others.

Our faculty is made up of a distinguished group of professors and doctors with excellent academic and professional credentials, including psychoanalytic training.

They practice in public and private hospitals or in their own offices. Some are partners or researchers in leading associations, companies and international institutions dedicated to psychology and psychoanalysis.

Who should pursue this degree?

Graduate students in the fields of Psychology, Pedagogy and related careers. Students should be interested in becoming psychotherapists and professionals interested in developing their skills for offering responsible consultations and high-quality psychotherapy.

Students graduate with skills that make them proficient in the fields of scientific work, research, and Psychotherapy using the clinical method.

After students have acquired a theoretical perspective, their knowledge is put into practice through supervised clinical activities. This provides professionals with theoretical and methodological support within a psychoanalytic approach, which allows them to serve as psychotherapists.
