Students will learn about the Mexican tax system and study legal norms through which the state exercises its power in order to obtain greater benefit from the revenues used to cover public expenditures and how to design different fiscal strategies from the point of view of the taxpayer.

We train professionals to accurately determining taxes based on the facts or legal acts typified in the rules.

They know how to distinguish the nature, relevance or irrelevance, causal succession, obligatory and patrimonial consequences.

Who should pursue this degree?

Law professionals and Accountants who are interested in learning about the fiscal areas of planning, paying taxes for goods and merchandise, specifying functions of the State and using financial resources, as well as developing fiscal strategies for organization and legal defense, where the justice system always prevails.

The professors who teach courses for the Master’s Degree in Tax Law are executives and/or partners in renowned Tax Offices, Insurers, Public Notaries, Customs, as well as legal and corporate directors of government agencies and internationally recognized private companies and institutions..

This master’s degree aims to train professionals to know and identify the elements and principles of Tax Law through the acquisition of theoretical and practical knowledge necessary to achieve mastery, management, understanding and interpretation of the Mexican tax system by studying the legal norms through which the state exercises its tax power with the purpose of obtaining private income that offsets public expenditure.

EDUCATIONAL MODELS

Duration: 6 quarters (1 year, 6 months)

  • There are 6 quarterly Blocks.
  • Students will choose three subjects taught by an expert.
  • There are three to four hours of face-to-face classes per week, depending on the complexity of the topics presented per session
  • The educational model consists of ten weeks of classes. The final evaluation takes place during the eleventh week.
  • The final evaluation is based on participation in classes, forums, papers and examinations.
  • Students have virtual access to the online library and academic papers, and receive advice through our forum system and support for study programs.

    FOREIGN STUDENTS

    The Institution will admit students from abroad, provided that they comply with the following:
    • Submit a validation of studies certificate or transcripts for studies completed abroad issued by the Ministry of Public Education, or relevant authority.
    • Provide a birth certificate and certificate/transcripts proving the completion of studies. Both must be duly notarized or certified in the country of origin.
    • Proof of authorization to travel for studies in the Mexican Republic (FM2 Visa). *The Institution reserves the right to grant or deny admission into any of the study programs it provides.

  • WHAT ARE THE FUNDING OPTIONS?

    Due to the economic problems faced by the country, Humanitas in association with Force H A.C. has created an investment fund to fulfill its mission. Funding is granted based on course load and Force H absorbs the additional costs associated with a chosen academic level.
    What are the requirements?

    • Follow the rules.
    • Adhere to Humanitas’ values (write a pledge to uphold these values).
    • Approved psychological evaluation.

  • WHAT DO I NEED TO GRADUATE?

    We currently have two requirements for graduation.

    Case Seminar:

    • Maintain a minimum average of 8 in the case seminar.

     

    Tesis:

    • Fulfill the Thesis requirements (you can find the requirements on our website or you can consult an Academic Advisor)
