Due to the importance of acquiring legal knowledge within the context of corporations, graduates leave the university with a broadened approach and understanding of topics such a trademarks and patents, the fiscal effects of contracts, mergers, split-offs, among others, as well as an understanding of the legal framework surrounding trade and electronic contracting within organizations, including how to defend the rights of creators and inventors.

The Master’s Degree in Corporate Law provides graduates with the knowledge of corporate legal standards and activities considered fundamental for the legal planning and development of the institutions.

We provide the theoretical and practical knowledge required to master, comprehend, interpret and apply the general corporate system, ensuring efficient implementation within organizations.

Who should pursue this degree?

Lawyers interested in obtaining the tools used to conduct an in-depth analysis of corporate elements in order to determine and solve operational problems or deficiencies and, if necessary, provide feasible alternatives to their solution.

The professors who teach courses for the Master’s Degree in Corporate Law are managers and/or partners of renowned Tax Offices, Legal Bureaus, Financial Institutions, Banking System, Treasurers, Quality Certifiers, as well as administrative and corporate directors of government agencies and high level private companies and institutions.

Our graduates will be able to advise companies on legal matters surrounding industrial and commercial projects based on a solid legal doctrine, ethical professional practices and a well-founded vision of society, companies and individuals, allowing companies to develop their businesses and human elements. After developing the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge, graduates will master the ability to advise companies on different legal phenomena, as well as the ability to understand and interpret the general corporate system.

EDUCATIONAL MODELS

Duration: 6 quarters (1 year, 6 months)

  • There are 6 quarterly Blocks.
  • Students will choose three subjects taught by an expert.
  • There are three to four hours of face-to-face classes per week, depending on the complexity of the topics presented per session.
  • The educational model consists of ten weeks of classes. The final evaluation takes place during the eleventh week..
  • The final evaluation is based on participation in classes, forums, papers and examinations.
  • Students have virtual access to the online library and academic papers, and receive advice through our forum system and support for study programs.

    FOREIGN STUDENTS

    The Institution will admit students from abroad, provided that they comply with the following:
    • Submit a validation of studies certificate or transcripts for studies completed abroad issued by the Ministry of Public Education, or relevant authority.
    • Provide a birth certificate and certificate/transcripts proving the completion of studies. Both must be duly notarized or certified in the country of origin.
    • Proof of authorization to travel for studies in the Mexican Republic (FM2 Visa). *The Institution reserves the right to grant or deny admission into any of the study programs it provides.

  • WHAT ARE THE FUNDING OPTIONS?

    Due to the economic problems faced by the country, Humanitas in association with Force H A.C. has created an investment fund to fulfill its mission. Funding is granted based on course load and Force H absorbs the additional costs associated with a chosen academic level.
    What are the requirements?

    • Follow the rules.
    • Adhere to Humanitas’ values (write a pledge to uphold these values).
    • Approved psychological evaluation.

  • WHAT DO I NEED TO GRADUATE?

    We currently have two requirements for graduation.

    Case Seminar:

    • Maintain a minimum average of 8 in the case seminar.

     

    Tesis:

    • Fulfill the Thesis requirements (you can find the requirements on our website or you can consult an Academic Advisor)
