MASTER’S DEGREE IN ACCOUNTING AND TAXES

Graduates will have knowledge of the Mexican accounting system, which will allow them to evaluate accounting, financial and fiscal operations within the corporate and government sectors..

Students who graduate with a Master’s Degree in Accounting are able to support accounting and auditing-related processes, as well as ensure that individuals and corporations are in compliance with tax obligations.

Graduates go on to solve tax problems for taxpayers by proposing feasible alternatives that allow for the satisfactory fulfillment of fiscal obligations under the best possible conditions. Graduates are also prepared to effectively manage increases in shareholder wealth within the context of ethical business practices and sustainable development.

Our accounting professors for the Master’s Degree in Accounting with a Specialization in Taxes are managers and/or partners of renowned Tax, Accounting and Financial Offices, Legal Firms, Financial Institutions, Banking Systems, Consultancy Companies, as well as fiscal and financial managers for government entities, private companies and institutions.

Our graduates will have the ability to analyze, evaluate and explain financial and fiscal information in order to design accounting, fiscal and financial strategies based on national and international regulations, as well as to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement mechanisms, techniques and models of financial information that allow companies to properly evaluate the risks inherent in obtaining higher revenue margins. Graduates will go on to generate confidence and credibility in relation to their professional actions to facilitate the decision-making with regard to investments and financing from a paradigm of financial responsibility from the advised company.

Duration: 6 quarters (1 year, 6 months)

  • There are 6 quarterly Blocks.
  • Students will choose three subjects taught by an expert.
  • There are three to four hours of face-to-face classes per week, depending on the complexity of the topics presented per session.
  • The educational model consists of ten weeks of classes. The final evaluation takes place during the eleventh week.
  • The final evaluation is based on participation in classes, forums, papers and examinations.
  • Students have virtual access to the online library and academic papers, and receive advice through our forum system and support for study programs.

MEXICAN STUDENTS

FOREIGN STUDENTS

The Institution will admit students from abroad, provided that they comply with the following:
  • Submit a validation of studies certificate or transcripts for studies completed abroad issued by the Ministry of Public Education, or relevant authority.
  • Provide a birth certificate and certificate/transcripts proving the completion of studies. Both must be duly notarized or certified in the country of origin.
  • Proof of authorization to travel for studies in the Mexican Republic (FM2 Visa). *The Institution reserves the right to grant or deny admission into any of the study programs it provides.

Due to the economic problems faced by the country, Humanitas in association with Force H A.C. has created an investment fund to fulfill its mission. Funding is granted based on course load and Force H absorbs the additional costs associated with a chosen academic level.

What are the requirements?

We currently have two requirements for graduation.

Case Seminar:

  • Maintain a minimum average of 8 in the case seminar..

 

Thesis:

  • Fulfill the Thesis requirements (you can find the requirements on our website or you can consult an Academic Advisor)
